Northern Roots was established in 1996 by the owner, Theron Horton, after working in horticulture since 1988. Incorporated in 2000, Northern Roots has quietly built a solid reputation as a provider of quality service. We work with Landscape Architects, Architects, Designers, General Contractors and most importantly, Homeowners to build new creative visions. We can offer our own creative vision, too. We know that your outdoors are an extension of your indoors, your home, the place where you live. Your garden must be a reflection of your taste and lifestyle. We have extensive experience with bringing such dreams to life.

Northern Roots is a member of the BC Landscape and Nursery Association, we are also Certified Horticultural Technicians, Affiliate member of the BC Society of Landscape Architects, member of the Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association, and accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

We participate in ongoing seminars, trade-shows and other industry events to stay current on the most recent best practices and products and to upgrade skills and overall knowledge on a broad spectrum of horticulture-related fields.  We are dedicated to our profession and life-long learning.
